万向联轴器利用其机构的特点,使两轴不在同一轴线,存在轴线夹角的情况下能实现所联接的两轴连续回转,并可靠地传递转矩和运动。万向联轴器更好大的特点是:其结构有较大的角向补偿能力,结构紧凑,传动效率高。不同结构型式万向联轴器两轴线夹角不相同,一般在5°-45°之间。
用来联接不同机构中的两根轴(主动轴和从动轴),使之共同旋转,以传递扭矩的机械零件。在高速重载的动力传动中,有些联轴器还有缓冲、减振和提高轴系动态性能的作用。联轴器由两半部分组成,分别与主动轴和从动轴联接。一般动力机大都借助于联轴器与工作机相联接。 [1]

十字轴式万向联轴器是用量较大的万向联轴器,轴承是十字轴式万向联轴器的易损件。几种大型十字轴式万向联轴器的主要区别在于轴承座和十字叉头的变化,形成不同结构形式。为保证主、从动轴的同步性,实际应用中均采用双联形式,双联的联接方式不外乎焊接或法兰盘通过螺栓联接,中间长短的变化可有多种形式。十字轴式万向联轴器十字头部件有以下形式:SWC型整体性叉头十字轴式万向联轴器(JB/T 5513-2006)、SWP型部分轴承座十字轴式万向联轴器(JB/T 3241-2005)、SWZ型整体轴承座十字轴式万向联轴器(JB/T 3242-1993)、WS型小型双十字轴式万向联轴器(JB/T 5901-1991)、WSD型小型单十字轴式万向联轴器(JB/T 5901-1991)、SWP型十字轴式万向联轴器用十字包(JB/T 7341.1-2005)、WGC型十字轴式万向联轴器用十字包(JB/T 7341.2-2006)。以上重型和小型十字轴式万向联轴器均为通用型,汽车行业不同车型有各自专用十字轴式万向联轴器或其他品种万向联轴器。例如轿车选用球笼式万向联轴器。此外农业机械、工业机械等运动机械产品也均有专用万向联轴器,起重大多数采用十字轴式万向联轴器。

In practical applications, they are divided into heavy, medium, light, and small according to the transmitted torque size.

The universal joint utilizes the characteristics of its mechanism to enable the two shafts to rotate continuously and reliably transmit torque and motion when they are not on the same axis and there is an angle between the axes. The biggest feature of a universal joint is that its structure has a large angular compensation ability, a compact structure, and high transmission efficiency. The angle between the two axes of different structural types of universal couplings is not the same, generally between 5 ° -45 °.

A mechanical component used to connect two shafts (the driving shaft and the driven shaft) in different mechanisms to rotate together and transmit torque. The cross shaft universal joint is a widely used universal joint, and the bearing is a vulnerable part of the cross shaft universal joint. The main difference between several large cross shaft universal couplings lies in the changes in the bearing seat and cross head, forming different structural forms. To ensure the synchronization of the main and driven shafts, a double connection form is adopted in practical applications. The double connection method is nothing more than welding or flange plate connection through bolts, and there can be various forms of changes in the length of the middle. The cross head components of the cross shaft universal joint have the following forms: SWC type integral cross head cross shaft universal joint (JB/T 5513-2006), SWP type partial bearing seat cross shaft universal joint (JB/T 3241-2005), SWZ type integral bearing seat cross shaft universal joint (JB/T 3242-1993), WS type small double cross shaft universal joint (JB/T 5901-1991), WSD type small single cross shaft universal joint (JB/T 5901-1991), cross package for SWP type cross shaft universal joint (JB/T 7341.1-2005), and cross package for WGC type cross shaft universal joint. JB/T 7341.2-2006). The above heavy-duty and small-sized cross shaft universal couplings are universal types, and different models in the automotive industry have their own dedicated cross shaft universal couplings or other types of universal couplings. For example, sedans use ball cage universal couplings. In addition, agricultural machinery, industrial machinery and other sports machinery products also have dedicated universal couplings, and most of them use cross shaft universal couplings.
